The Selçuk University National Student Congress 2026 is a multidisciplinary scientific and social event bringing together high school and university students, young entrepreneurs, academics, and industry representatives. Organized around science, art, and sustainability, the congress aims to support young people's scientific thinking, research, and production skills, strengthen knowledge sharing, and encourage collaborations between academia and industry. It will provide an environment where young people can share their comprehensive insights, benefit from different disciplines, meet with expert academics, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives to share experiences and forge new partnerships, and develop solutions to global problems.
The congress, to be held at the Selçuk University Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center from April 20-22, 2026, is presented at the intersection of four core disciplines: Science, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Arts. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, interact with professionals from different disciplines, and develop new collaborations through oral and poster presentations, booth areas, exhibitions, and science and art events.
The thematic framework of the congress is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 5P approach (People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership). This model allows for discussion of various global perspectives under the headings of people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership, and the congress consists of academic and intellectual solutions.
The congress program is enriched with student presentations, entrepreneurship and project panels, academic consultation sessions, and inspiring talks. In addition, daily events such as short film screenings, theatre performances, and concerts will be included in the congress, offering a rich cultural and social experience alongside existing academic exchanges.
